Is Perthi a good base for exploring Snowdonia?

Yes. Perthi is centrally located in Snowdonia, making it easy to explore different areas while returning each day to a calm, rural setting. The cottages are just a 7-minute drive from the Rhyd Ddu path up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).

Can we walk straight from the cottages?

Yes. Several walks start from the door or nearby, including gentle valley and riverside routes as well as longer hill walks. Many guests enjoy leaving the car behind for part of their stay.

Is this a quiet place to stay?

Yes. The cottages sit on a working mountain farm above Beddgelert, away from busy roads and crowds. Guests often comment on the peaceful setting and sense of space.

Who are the cottages best suited for?

Perthi is ideal for walkers, couples looking for a peaceful break, and families who enjoy being outdoors. It suits guests who appreciate a rural location rather than a busy resort.

Is Perthi Holiday Cottages family-run?

The cottages sit on Delyth’s family sheep farm, where her parents still live and work — a real, working place, especially at lambing time. We took over running the cottages in 2021 and live nearby in Waunfawr, looking after everything ourselves and always close at hand if guests need us.
