The space
The mill is a detached, all-on-one-level conversion. It has a bright open-plan kitchen and living space, with large sliding doors leading out to the patio. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and the bathroom features a walk-in shower.
Ty Felin is fully self-contained and sits adjacent to our traditional farmhouse. Outside the cottage, you may see farming activity, free-roaming chickens, and sheep grazing in the surrounding fields.
Guest access & logistics
- Access & Parking: Half-mile private concrete track — well-maintained and suitable for all cars. Free off-road parking right next to the cottage (accessed via a few steps).
- Walking to the Village: 10-minute downhill walk via our private footpath through fields and woods. Walking shoes are recommended as paths can get wet after rain.
- Alternative Walk: You can drive down our track to our lower parking bay for a shorter, flatter walk into the village (there is no pavement, so a torch is useful after dark).
Other things to note
- Work & Connectivity: Wi-Fi is reliable fibre and suitable for streaming or remote work.
- EV Charging: Dedicated charger right next to the mill — please contact us in advance to confirm current rates.
- Water: Fresh, UV-filtered and sourced directly from the mountain.
- Laundry: Shared washer and dryer available in an outbuilding 50m away.
- Hiking: Summit Yr Aran directly from the farm gate (proper equipment required) or enjoy the scenic circular route over to the Craflwyn Estate.
- The Coast: Beaches and coastal paths are just a 15-minute drive if the hills are in cloud.
