Can we walk into Beddgelert Village?

Yes — the village is very close. Perthi sits just above Beddgelert, and it’s around 10 minutes downhill via a path through fields and woodland, and about 20 minutes back up. The path can get wet after rain, so walking shoes are recommended.

Where are the nearest shops and places to eat?

Beddgelert village is a 10‑minute walk through fields and woodland and has a well‑stocked local shop (Emrys House), four pubs that all serve food, Bistro Hebog, Glaslyn Pizza which is also an ice‑cream shop and café, Caffi Colwyn, and Ty Coets coffee shop. For larger supermarkets, Porthmadog is 20 minutes away with Aldi, Lidl and Tesco, and Caernarfon is around 35 minutes with Morrisons, Tesco and Asda.

Is parking included?

Yes — each cottage has free parking for up to 2 cars next to the cottage.

Do the cottages have reliable Wi-Fi?

Yes — each cottage has new fibre broadband, suitable for streaming and remote work.

Do you have EV charging?

Yes — there is an EV charger next to Ty Felin. Please request EV charging in advance and we’ll confirm the current rate.

Is Perthi pet-free?

Our cottages and lodge are pet-free. As we are a working mountain farm, you will likely meet our friendly working dogs and free-roaming chickens during your stay, but we keep the interiors pet-free to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.

Is there a washing machine and dryer?

Yes — laundry facilities are available on site in the outbuilding next to Ty Hebog and are available for guests from all cottages.
