Perthi is a mountain farm and wonderfully located on the slopes above the famous village of Beddgelert in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The cottages and holiday caravan overlook the Gwynant, Colwyn and Glaslyn valleys and have great views towards the surrounding mountains including Moel Hebog.
Set at the base of the famous mountain of Snowdon (the highest in England and Wales), this is an ideal location for a holiday in Snowdonia.

The small shops, pleasant pubs and restaurants in Beddgelert village are only a short walk from the cottages and caravan down through the fields and woods. Supermarkets and larger shops are available in Caernarfon.
This part of Snowdonia is a climbers, walkers and cyclists paradise with ample footpaths, renowned mountains, forests and lakes all around you.
There are plenty of walks available from scenic valley walks alongside rivers, to scrambles up the high peaks of Snowdonia. And of course, Snowdon is on the doorstep.
There are mountain bike routes in Beddgelert Forest (where bike hire is available), and more challenging mountain biking can be found nearby at the Marin Trail near Betws-y-Coed and Plas-y-Brenin near Dolgellau.
Alternatively, you can just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery that Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales have to offer - from the lakes and mountains of Snowdonia to the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey. There are sandy beaches just 8 miles from Perthi.
There are many tourist attractions to visit including the steam railways of the Welsh Highland Railway (which will soon be extended to run past Beddgelert), Ffestiniog Railway and Snowdon Mountain Railway.
Local historical castles include Caernarfon Castle, Conwy Castle and Harlech Castle, and other attractions include Portmeirion Italianate Village, slate caverns in Blaenau Ffestiniog and the famous National Trust Bodnant Garden.

Perthi is located at the edge of the popular village of Beddgelert at the foot of Snowdon in North Wales and is well connected to the UK's road network via North Wales' A55 coastal expressway which links to the M6, and the A5 from the M54. Car parking is available next to the cottages and caravan. Detailed directions will be provided on booking.
